If climate wasn't all screwed up we should be getting tons of rain, instead we had a gorgeous summer day! Works for me! I flew with a couple to see a property on the Pacific Coast, flying is the way to go for sure, an helicopter is really the wave of the future, it takes 2 hours to get to the same point driving and it took me just 15 minutes by plane! The property is quite interesting, the coastal road that eventually will connect Panama and Nicaragua travelling parallel to the Pacific Coast is not paved between Quepos and Dominical...but the crews are working and the road is scheduled to be finished by july 2007. Therefore the price of the properties on that area are still affordable and the potential of aprecciation is quite big because a lot of people will start circulating through that road instead of the current access to the south which is accross the Cerro de la Muerte (dead mount for those who don't know spanish). What makes the difference on this property vs other property on the central pacific or north pacific is that the beach is virgin, the mangrove area is gorgeous, the mountains are close the the coast and of course the price. The property area is 18 hectares (aprox 44 acres) and it has close to 300 meters of beach frontage. Most of the property is flat and its a great location for an eco-friendly development project.
